Play: Lend me a Tenor
by Ken Ludwig (1986)
Directed by Ryan Hazelbaker
Performance January 15, 2015
Location: Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts
An entertaining drama/comedy in two acts, first performed in 1986.  The timeless plot ensures this play will be around for a long time.  Plenty of laughs and a happy ending.  Well performed and the cast seemed to have good chemistry.  I always enjoy the performances of Laura Moore, even though hers was just a minor role for this show.  Laura always owns the stage, not only as actual owner of this small-town theater, but in her commanding stage presence  (I still recall her show-stealing performance in Boeing Boeing a year ago).  Her husband Tim also never fails to disappoint.  Kudos to Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts for bringing such high quality theater to such a small remote town.
