A fun evening of laughs where Southpark meets Broadway. The creators of that show conjure up their deepest irreverent impulses to skewer religious dogma, with Mormon missionaries as their target. The humor was classic Matt Stone as the show dresses up raw vulgarities with humor, song and dance. The performance was nearly flawless. The only shortcoming I noticed was that some of the actors voices did not quite manage to fill the theater. If you don’t mind blowing $500 for an evening of entertainment for two, Book of Mormon is a one good way to part with your cash.
